Step 9 – ADAPTIV for Special Needs

broken image

Sometimes in education, an individual may require additional specialized services or accommodations for various difficulties. These difficulties can include physical, emotional, behavioral, or learning disability or impairment.

Supporting the brain health of those with SPECIAL NEEDS is paramount for helping them to reach their fullest potential in every area of development.  ADAPTIV,  as we know, reduces stress and brings GABA to an optimal level. These are two important factors in supporting those with SPECIAL NEEDS.

In fact, a study published in the Archives of General Psychiatry found that “GABA concentration is reduced in children with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) compared with typically developing control subjects.” (Edden, Crocetti, Zhu, Gilbert, and Mostofsky, 2012 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3970207/ )

Another study from Neuroscience and Behavioral Reviews shows GABA systemdysfunction in Autism and related disorders (Coghlan, Horder, Inkster, Mendez, Murphy, and Nutt, July 2012, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4477717/).

Wellness Advocate Jamie N. shared this about using ADAPTIV SYSTEM for Special Needs: “I was super blessed to start my daughter right away on the ADAPTIV. To say the results were almost instant is not an overstatement. Before she went to work, she took a capsule and the premade roller with her. Typically, at her job, she will struggle with feeling overwhelmed and have to take a moment to gather herself. She used the roller behind her ears when she knew she would need it. She was able to work the whole day without having those stressful feelings. She also has a nervous habit of shaking and bouncing her legs and even that has slowed down immensely. Even her doctor noticed her improvement at her last appointment. This system is amazing!"
