All children have a tendency to get a little over excited and rambunctious at times. However, some children with special needs, especially those with ADHD, Autism, Bipolar, and Sensory Processing Disorder, may seem to be in an overactive state more frequently than their peers, and may have a difficult time calming their bodies down. 

Common symptoms of special needs children can interfere with their daily routine, causing them to have difficulty during class, trouble completing homework, difficulty with eating meals (because their bodies are too busy to sit still at the table), and a harder time getting into a restful state to fall asleep at bedtime.

There are a number of Essential Oils that can help with these issues. Here are a few to choose from:

Cedarwood

Lavender

Marjoram

Vetiver

Serenity Blend

Balance Blend

COOL YOUR HEELS DIFFUSER RECIPE

3 drops Lavender Essential Oil

2 drops CedarwoodEssential Oil

1 drop Vetiver Essential Oil

Sometimes those with Special Needs get energized when using calming Essential Oils. In these cases, oils like Lavender, or blends with Lavender, rev them up instead of calming them down. If this is the case, use these Essential Oils to calm them down:
