Step 12 - Ear Discomfort

Ear discomfort can range from slight pressure or a full feeling, to an ache that can’t be ignored. Essential Oils should NEVER be placed in the ear canal, but you can still find relief by applying topically AROUND the outer ear. Another method is to apply Essential Oils to a cotton ball and place it loosely in the ear just outside the ear canal.

IN ONE EAR AND OUT THE OTHER ROLLER BLEND RECIPE

2 drops Basil Essential Oil

2 drops Lavender Essential Oil

2 drops Melaleuca Essential Oil

Put oils in a 10ml roller bottle and top with carrier oil. Shake well before each use. Apply around the outer ear and on the bone behind the ear.

COTTON IN THE EARS RECIPE

1 drop Basil Essential Oil

1 drop Melaleuca Essential Oil

For adults, add Essential Oils to a cotton ball and place in the outer ear for a few hours.

For children, do the same, but add a carrier oil to the cotton ball; it is also best to leave the cotton ball in place for as long as kids can tolerate, even overnight if possible.

QUESTION – HOW MANY TIMES EACH YEAR DO YOU OR A LOVED ONE EXPERIENCE EAR DISCOMFORT?
